 Frequently asked questions

  • Certification will be granted for as long as the gallery remains committed to gender equity. If your representation of women artists drops below 50%, we ask that you inform Less Than Half.

  • At the moment, there is no fee to apply.

  • Galleries do not need to be based in the U.S.

  • Your certification is a commitment to maintaining 50% women artists – if that changes, you must let us know so we can remove you from the directory.
